Magnolia is everywhere

In February, just after Magnolia died, a friend in San Francisco texted me a picture of a magnolia tree blooming in the San Francisco Botanical Gardens and wrote "Magnolia is everywhere."

Since then many people have texted, e-mailed and posted pictures of magnolia trees budding, blooming or covered in glossy green leaves all over New York and in other places around the country, and even around the world.  She is indeed everywhere, and people are reminded of her when they see the beautiful blooming trees that are her namesake.  We are posting these pictures here as a continuing tribute to our sweet Magnolia.

Please keep sending your pictures, we love seeing them and knowing that you are thinking of our girl when you see them in your neck of the world.
